Trading Getz

Josh Fields was involved too, but 2B Chris Getz is the one I will miss.

It's nice to get Mark Teahen, but I'm not sure giving up Getz's base-stealing ability makes sense.

The best way to gauge a trade is to look at it from the other side. If you were a Kansas City fan, how would you feel? I'd feel like the White Sox got the better of the trade.

The ChiPod and Castro are free to go free agent. The Sox need to sign Podsednik even if they don't plan a lead role for him. He's a great asset coming off the bench.
